Analytics Consultants: Data-savvy people with solid business acumen who also want to learn the more traditional management consulting skills and in time be able to bridge data and business. As an Analytics Consultant, you will work alongside QVARTZ' management consulting teams, helping to solve problems at client sites, but with a core focus on data management, preparation, analytics and visualization, using Python or other well-known programming languages. You will draw out valuable business insights to solve our clients' business challenges as well as optimize their future business.

Data Scientists/Engineers: Data wizards who get energy from building advanced algorithms and running analysis on a variety of different data types using sophisticated tools and software for e.g. database handling. As a Data Scientist/Engineer in QVARTZ Analytics, you will become an expert in some of the more technical areas of data science and support the Analytical Consultants on projects proving in depth knowledge of more advanced analytical methods. Moreover, you define business and technical data requirements to ensure that QVARTZ Analytics is on the forefront of the technical development and have the required technical toolbox.

The recruitment process

In our line of business, finding the right candidates is as much about personality as it is about data and numbers. It is important for us that potential candidates get to know us and vice versa. Therefore, our recruitment process combines personal interviews with case interviews focusing on both analytics and more classic business dilemmas.

The case interview has an analytical focus and determines your approach and logic in handling large data sets. It requires knowledge of programming/algorithmic thinking, but you will not be required to write any specific piece of code. Having worked with data and having a good understanding of basic data operations will take you a long way.

The recruitment process may vary slightly from office to office, depending on position and timing, but you will always get to meet potential new colleagues up close and have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills in problem solving and analytical reasoning as well as to let us in on who you are as a person.

How to prepare

If you are new to case interviews, it is a good idea to prepare thoroughly and make sure you are familiar with the most common types of cases. Try not to cling too much to specific learned-by-heart frameworks.
